Edit folder keeps on dissapearing, why?

Here I am hosting away, and every so often the edit folder gets deleted without my authorization, or doing.  What is going on? And why does it keep on disappearing?  Is there a script somewhere that is causing this to happen or do I have to put a new one in every other day?


BTW, I'm using 1.3.1 right now too.

This is a known problem and we don't know the answer yet - all we know is that there is nothing in the CPG code which is likely to delete a directory
