Familiar with previous versions of the script I started up a bit wrong, and have uploaded a bunch of pictures to albums in the User Galleries category in stead of directly into new categories (I'm gonna be the only one with uploading privileges, there's no need for the category User Galleries).

Is there a way to move the already uploaded pictures from my useralbums into new albums in other categories?

Also: how do I get rid of the category "User Galleries" on the main page (since this is gonna be empty anyway)?

TIA. :)

Birgit

The moving issue is solved - I finally found out how to!

I still would like to "get rid of" the category User Galleries on the main page, though.

if no user albums exist, it will not show up (that's how mine worked).  i think you can disable users from having their own albums as well (check config page).

Thanks for replying,

In Config I've put "No" on all commands dealing with User Galleries, but the category still shows up. When going to the Categories directory there's no option to delete or modify the Users Galleries - only the categories I've put up myself are editable/ deletable.

I'm wondering whether "breadcrumbs" has got anything to do with it, but I don't dare to take this out of the Config page since I don't know what breadcrumbs are... ;)

I appreciate any help on this!

"Breadcrumbs" is the navigation that tells you "Home > Category > Subcategory > Specific album" and has nothing to do with your problem.
If you have created at least one user album, the category "user gallery" will show up, no matter wether you deleted the user album or not. To solve this, take a look at your database with phpMyAdmin (remember to backup first); the table "cpg11d_categories" is the place to look at.

Thanks,

I suspected the breadcrumbs having to do with navigation... :)

Yes, I did create a couple of albums, and noticed how they didn't disappear from the listing although I later deleted them. I've opened the database admin cpanel, this is the screen I get:
