Error message when upload picture

This is an error message I have seen when I upload picture

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 6400 bytes) in /home/virtual/site109/fst/var/www/cud36/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 209

Anyone know how to fix this error.

You need to change a setting for memory allocation in php.ini.
