I'm new to all this and I downloaded Apache HTTP Server - but I don't understand how to work it!? I want to make a simple gallery for my website - please help!  :P

You would also need a PHP parser and MySQL admin. Try PHPerl, also by sourceforge. It has everything you would need and more.
