How to add some kinda text on the header

I just would like to add  a welocme message to my site along with some other info.I believe this is done by changing the anycontent.php file but I couldn't figure it out.Is there a tutoirial about this anywhere?

Where were you getting confused about anycontent.php?  Once you write the welcome message in anycontent.php, you have to go the the CONFIG page and find the "Content of the main page" text box, under Album list view.  It probably says something like:

Code Select Expand


breadcrumb/catlist/...


Just add /anycontent/ in the place you want the welcome message.  See the docs too: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#config_album_list

Ahhh,ok so thats where I add anycontent.What does breadcrum and catlist for?

Read the docs -
Breadcrumb are those links along the top when you're looking at an album or photo:
Home > User Name > Album Name > Photo Name

Catlist is the Category list - you need to have this showing on your homepage if you want anyone to see your photos... or feel free to delete it

I only have Albumlist in that box.But I can see all those links and the pictures so why do you think that is?
I now added any content and it is showing the new welcome box,thanks a lot!

I don't know.  Try changing/adding some of the values listed in the documentation.
