Marking Slideshow Views as Views

I might not be searching for this right, but I'm not finding anything to match this:

As for a feature request, I would like to ask that slideshow views count as picture views.  Seems simple enought to code, and if I have time to later, I'll dig through the code and figure it out and post it.

I, too would like to see this feature. I'm not advanced enough to code it, so if someone has been able to get this working, please post.
