I am a newbie and want your help.

I have installed SMF in my site under folder "forum". I wanted to install coppermine in the same folder and integrate with SMF. I have downloaded the bridge file and edited ini.php according to the documentation in Coppermine site. My question is I have folders admin ,templates, includes etc (installed by SMF) . Even coppermine has the same folder names ,when I upload coppermine files into the the same folder as SMF ,the admin, themes folders of SMF will be overwritten.
Is this OK? OR Should I install coppermine files in a different folder?

Thanks

Nibbler

install coppermine as standalone first, as suggested in the documentation!
