I have just installed CPG 1.3.2 onto my site with integration into phpBB 2.0.10.

Currently I am the only member of the phpBB, to which of course (assumption here), I become the administrator during the CPG install.

Now, here's what I'm wanting, and I believe this is how it is by default, when installing with the phpBB integration steps.  I don't want simple "wanderers" that come upon the gallery site to be able to upload.  However, I do want anyone that is a member of the phpBB to be able to, without having to register on the CPG page (I don't even want a registering capability from CPG (I'll remove that link on my own)).

Now, upon finishing the install of CPG, it took me to the logon page, to which worked perfectly, as it logged me in as the ID I use in phpBB.   I go into "User Mode" and click on the upload link and receive the below message:

There is no album where you are allowed to upload files.

After doing a quick search on the boards here, I found the following tid, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=5851.0 to which I believe explains my problem; however, on the Album Properties page, I currently have it set to Visitors can upload files = No.

So, I guess after all my yapping here, my question is...on the Album Properties page, when it says "Visitors", do I assume that means "Members of phpBB" on my site?  And NOT, just normal "wanderers".  I am thinking that "wanderers" would be part of the group "Guests"...phpBB Members are part of the "Members" and Visitors = Members.

Hope I didn't confuse too many of you....But am I correct in all my assumptions ??

To enable/disable groups from posting, visit the Groups panel when you are logged into as an admin.  As the admin you should upload your pictures to a directory you create in the albums directory, then batch add them.  You must create at least one album before you can add any images.  Users can only upload to their personal gallery, which they must create themselves, or an album that the admin creates and gives permission for users to upload into.

OK, I have the properties for all the albums I created (as admin) set to allow visitors to post (as I'm trying to get the members of the phpBB to only use those albums (or mainly use them).

My big question is...  Is the group "Members" in the Groups Panel, the same as the "Visitors" in the Albums Properties?

No.  "Visitors" means you're allowing anyone to upload to that album.  You choose who you allow to upload in the Groups panel.
