Cant login after install

Hello All

I have installed CPG on WinXP with Apache 2.0.48, PHP 5 for Windows, MySQL 4.0.x
I set up Coppermine in install page. Then I tried to login. I can never login.
I used IE, Netscape 7.2 Mozilla Firefox 0.9, MyIE I allowed cookies from evereybody, played with settings. Could not get it to work.
Here is what I have done:
1. Click lo login
2. enter user and pass
3. click login
4. get the the screen welcome <username>
5 get to the main page.

I am confused.
My other PHP script (Kmusic) works cool.  .
