Seems I missed a little point
I set the admins quota and most things are now working (no debug message)
"Batch Add Files" returns, "This function allows you to add a batch of file that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.

Select the directory where you have uploaded your files "

There appears to be no link to select a directory

You need to put your files in a folder in the albums folder, but not in userpics.

Thats the problem with auto install it makes me to lazy to read the instructions.
