Title: Can someone take a look at this?
Post by: mcpb on October 05, 2004, 07:44:30 AM
I just installed my coppermine. I tested everything and it all worked fine. I noticed I could not upload videos so I then noticed I have to install a video hack. I did this. now I have this line under my menu

"{LANGUAGE_SELECT_FLAGS}
{LANGUAGE_SELECT_LIST} {THEME_SELECT_LIST}
"

anyone know what this is or how to get ride of it?

Still I can't upload any videos.

If their a pre modded version that already has the video and sounds hacks added in?

The "video hack" is a core part of cpg1.3.x, no need to install it. If  "{LANGUAGE_SELECT_FLAGS}" is being shown on your page, then you're trying to use themes that were built with for cpg1.3.x with cpg1.2.x  code. You shouldn't have applied the video mod, undo your changes (or better yet: re-upload the cpg1.3.2 files over your existing files).
Posting a link to your site might help.

I have 1.3.2 but when I tried to upload a video it would not let me and I could not find any settings. I have reinstalled all the original 1.3.2 files.

But I still can't add any video files..  how do i? when I try to upload a video file it says zero files uploaded.

I can add pictures and flash files. Just not video.

I got this message when I tried to upload:
QuoteSorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

Please create an album and grant the test account upload privileges. And do not expect supporters to create accounts just to help. We would have had to open dozens of accounts if that were the case.

I tried to upload the wmv and avi. RM tried to stream and I was too busy and tired to deal with it so anyway... Although I tried to upload 2 files, I got this message:
Quote1 uploads were successful.

I went to check the album to see if the one upload was there and it wasn't. There was no error message so I don't know what to say. ???

the test user account is username "test", password "test", no capitalization (this makes a difference). Please specify correct data in the future, makes a supporters live easier and people less likely to help you.
Uploading an avi file worked as expected for me: http://www.mcpaintball.com/media/displayimage.php?pos=-7
