Title: Moving user album to top level category
Post by: Haelios on October 12, 2004, 02:59:01 AM
Hi,

A user has posted several images into his user gallery. I want to move these albums (and all the pictures he's posted in them) to a category that is listed on the main page of the photo album.

Any help is much appreciated!
Sid

Create a public album and assign it to whatever category you want.  Then, go to the user's album, click edit pics, and move each picture from that album to the public one you created.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!

The problem is that there are 200+ images in this user's albums. Is there a way for me to move all the images in an album in one go? I can do a bit of SQL, so if there is any way of doing this by editing the database directly I will give it a shot.

Thanks,
Sid

You just need to change aid to match the new album's id.  The picture edit screen allows you to change up to 25 at a time, so it's not like you're doing one at a time.
