Title: Resizing of Intermediate Pictures section
Post by: thefugitive on October 17, 2004, 03:54:55 PM
Hi,

Hopefully a quick problem to be solved..

Firstly, just have to say brilliant work on Coppermine!

Ok, on my website i have a specific area / content section for all the info.. How do i resize (smaller) the intermediate section of Coppermine to fit this area?!?

Check out www.xtremeindustries.co.za for more of an idea to my question..

Thx in advance..

I don't understand your question: you're using an iframe to display coppermine in a small "window" on your page. The width settings are OK imo - if you want to get rid of the vertical scrollbar, edit the height attribute of your iframe.
Using frames/iframes just has some drawbacks, this is a matter of design.

Hi

Thx for getting back to me...

Hmm ok i have resized it and it now sort of fits.. Couple other things, how do i resize the width of the intermediate page? There is a lot of wasted space on the sides of the image which i don't really need. And the last thing, how do i disable the rating system!?

Thx again
Simon

we have a "one question per thread" policy on this board for good reasons, please respect it in the future.

You're free to modify your theme as you wish - adjust your stylesheet to get rid of extra space, or post a screenshot with the particluar area highlighted that you want to get rid of.

You can disable the rating system but not allowing users to rate - go to "groups" from your admin menu and disallow rating for all groups.
