let's check the markup, safari is suppossed to display fine. Please do as suggested and post a screenshot (attach it to your posting, using the "additional options" when composing your reply). Also, try using another theme to check if this issue is theme related.

I have found the same problem with slideshow distortion of portrait and landscape crop images while using Safari 1.2.4. However, this bug shows up only in my album that was uploaded in the single file transfer option. I have an album that was loaded by the person that installed CPG for me and it doesn't have this problem with ANY browser. It must be something to do with the way the file is being seen by CPG. I don't ever see this problem with IE, FF as you have found. Anyway to get to the source of this situation would be appreciated, and thank you for the great work. The attachments show the distorted file, uploaded via single image, and the non-distorted file in Safari uploaded by an experienced CPG expert.
I'm having the same problem here with Safari. Any suggestions?
I don't have a mac, so I can't tell you very much. The slideshow script that is being used within coppermine has been taken from http://www.codelifter.com/ and has come out even before Safari was available, so I guess it's just not compatible with Safari. You might want to google for this issue, or check the codelifter slideshow script and see if they have an improved version that works with safari as well. Maybe we could then incorporate the required changes into the coppermine version of the codelifter slideshow.
