First, thanx for the great job that's being done on CPG...
Then, I have a little question though I'm afraid I know the answer : can I set permission on categories the way I do it on albums ?
Basically, I want to create a category only accessible by registered users. That means that if you are not logged in, you would not even see the category on the main page. It would only appear once you are registered.
For now, I can only create a "basic" category and "restricted accessed" albums on it.
I would like to restrict the access directly to the category (the albums and sub-categories would inherite this restriction).

Not anytime soon, certainly not in 1.4.
There is talk about a complete change to the cat/album system for version 2, allowing nested albums etc, but that's all it is at the moment, talk. And version 2 is a long way off yet.
