Title: Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files
Post by: actionmedia on November 18, 2004, 10:00:15 PM
This is very frustrating! I've been trying to setup coppermine so that user's have their own personal gallery. I'm logged in as a user, and I keep getting this when trying to upload:

Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

Can someone please help me? This is very annoying, and I have followed the directions to ensure proper setup. I'll give you the admin password to whoever wants to help me.

Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Very un-userfriendly, I'll have to create my own skin. Also, you guys should think about using a better support forum, such as PHPBB or IBF. This one is hard to navigate/read.

The majority disagree with you:

As moderator of this and another board using phpbb, I prefer this one. It's probably difficult for you because you have to get adjusted to a different way of doing things.

If you think you have to create your own theme (skin) to allow users to create their own albums and upload to them, you have not understood (or read properly) the docs.  This is a simple operation, which the user has to do for themselves if they wish to have their own albums, and is availble in all themes.
