Title: A couple of problems... Critical error & permissions
Post by: iamcanadian on September 27, 2003, 05:25:18 PM
When I click on My profile in user mode, I get the following message:

Critical Error
There was an error while processing a database query

I get that same message when clicking Users & My Profile in admin as well.

Also how do I set permissions on a category or an album where I would like the to public to view, but only certain groups can upload? I don't see anywhere that I can set Upload permissions for certain Albums.

Thanks

Your link is pointed at http://www.kindredcreations.com/create/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=profile&op=edit_profile
when it should be:
http://www.kindredcreations.com/create/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=edituser
You also seem to have an extra slash / in some of your links

Thanks that worked... now when I click on the Users, it's the same thing.. where should this link point to? It's currently pointing to:

/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=usermgr

What about permissions?
Can I set it up so all users can view, but only certain user groups can upload?

/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=usermgr is the correct link for the admin menu
QuoteWhat about permissions?
Can I set it up so all users can view, but only certain user groups can upload?
the link titled Groups:
/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=groupmgr will give you all the options you need
