If your an admin you should be able to access all albums in a cpg.

Silly question perhaps but did you search the board and read the docs before posting ?

You have to go 1 step further to see the admin buttons for the user galleries.
What you see when you go to the user galleries cat is not their albums, but their sub-categories.  You need to go into the sub-cat to see the albums and admin buttons.

And adding pics is thru batch upload for example where you can find member albums under Personal Galleries.

hm, you're of course free to use coppermine for whatever purpose you can think of, but I think your concept is wrong in the first place: the point to have user galleries is that user will populate them (i.e. upload into their own user gallery). What for should the admin upload pics into the user galleries? He can create his own category/album structure (the public part of your coppermine gallery), where he can put pics/files of all kind if he wants to; the only place the admin should not upload to (although he can, technically speaking) are the user galleries. Administration of user galleries should imo be kept to a minimum (e.g. deleting content that violates your site's policies like porn or someone else's copyrights); generally speaking you should only administer the user gallery section if there's no other choice. Uploading pics to a user gallery is definitely not administration, but just wrong.
