Title: setup coppermine for mobile phone 3gps?
Post by: minkymorgan on December 13, 2004, 06:47:37 PM
Hi,
I just got coppermine running - and am now testing my setup - and everything is ok except that I can't figure out how to configure it to let me upload .3gp files? Is there a way I can add this extension to the existing list via a configuration? or ... is it a file type coppermine won't handle?

When I try to upload a .3gp file I get this error:
File Name/URL   Error Message
1. rollingeyes.3gp   Forbidden file extension.

I'd really like find more on how this works - at a minimum I' like to have 3gp files from my users' phones uploaded in the native format .... and then I guess I could do whatever I need to on the server side to make them watchable... any help appreciated...
thanks
Andrew

Have a look at this thread for adding extra filetypes.
