Title: Uploading problems
Post by: ScREWtop on December 25, 2004, 05:49:32 AM
I installed Coppermine 1.2.1 today and got it started.

I have uploaded 1 pic today but I keep getting this error:

Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload pictures

Help please

Why are you installing 1.2.1 ? that is months out of date.

Try searching the board for that error message.

And you can also try reading the documentation, which covers how to make albums and grant permission for uploading.

This is the verison that I get from my webhosting company.

How do I remove a sub category? I created a sub category and has a description saying "This category contains albums that belong to Coppermine users." How do I get rid of that? I deleted the main cat but this one is still there with no 'x' sign for me to delete.

You did not create that category, it is the users galleries gategory, and cannot be deleted.  It is hidden though, when there are no albums in it..

Please read the board rules, in the stickies, which state one question/topic per thread.
Also, to upgrade, just get the latest version from our downloads section, and follow the instructions, it's easy.
Version 1.2 is deprecated, and support is difficult, as no supporter runs this version anymore.  And when the next version is released, this versions support will be removed I expect.
