but i think, when i started the script, i have seen the random's, so i think it once worked ....

is this version good enough?

Have you got a random settings in your config for "The content of the main page"? Here's mine:

I had this exact problem for a while... and then it just sorted itself out... i didnt change anything to fix it, and now its never happening anymore.

so hang in there, hopefully it'll work itself out. :)

ps: nice to see another psytrance site using coppermine!  yeaaaaah

same thing applies to me: I had random pics working fine with my 1.1.1 install for months and suddenly it ceased working. I supsected my webhost doing things with my php install (diabling random number generation accidentally).

i removed the

random,2

yesterday , and now put it back and it works !!!

I have some categories that are empty when you open them because they have sub-categories
can I configure each page differently with random but only a limited set of albums ?
