Title: batch add for 2 gigs?
Post by: epall on December 30, 2004, 03:57:14 AM
I have about 2 gigs of photos sitting in a nicely organized deep directory tree on my server's HD. I have about 6 levels of herarchy with files on every level. Batch add would be a pretty laborious process, is there a fast way to just get the photos in the database, then deal with albuming? Even better, can I get the albums to take names from the directories?

Create albums/categories to reflect your folder structure. When doing batch add, select the albums per folder. You need to move the folders in the albums folder of the gallery.

Hi!
I have exactly the same problem... I have a huge directory with images that I want to painlessly move into coppermine.
The alternative to recreate the folder structure in coppermine, and batch add album by album is just too time costly  :-\\

Is there any Script that recursive follows a directory and imports local server files to Coppermine  ???

Thanks,
Tiago
