It is suggested that I look at the XP_publish.log if the XP upload does not work, but there is no such file on my server.
How do I create it?
Turn debug mode on in your config settings, then try to use xp_publish again. You should have a logfile created.
I believe the xp_publish.php file tells you to do that, but I haven't used it in a long time.
Nope,
Tried your suggestion but no log.
Review your server logs to see what, if any, errors were produced. What problem are you having with xp publish?
Well,
I managed to upload the file trough XP and it is visible on the server in a directory that was created, but I could not see it in the photo album.
Did I miss a step?
Do I have to import the file trough Coppermine even if I have used the XP Upload?
Thanks / Christer
Can you post a link to the page were you can't see the uploaded file?

Do we need to be logged in to see photos? There are no files in any of the albums. If logging in is required, please post a test user/password so we can log in. Please specify which album you have trouble with, too.
Ok, that is the problem. The files are in the folder but it is not visible on the web site.
You can try as user: test and password: test
Do I have to have the ImageMakick on the server EVEN if I use the XP upload function?
(My hosting company will add ImageMagick during January)
I've looked in the manual and I can not see an extra step after I have uploaded using XP. Should do any extra steps on the web page after using the XP wizard before the pictures are visible in the folder I uploaded to?
:P
You either need GD or ImageMagick (at least one of them!). If you have none, you can't use coppermine.

What does GD stand for? I need to spell it out when I tell my Hosting company.
Thanks by the way, the absense of both of those explain all my problems. You can mark this thread solved. (Or can I do that?)
