Title: Linking Coppermine and PHPBB to each other
Post by: foot on January 04, 2005, 04:51:48 PM
Now that I have Coppermine 1.3.2 working with my PHPBB 2.0.11. How do I link them together so my users can easily move from my BB to Coppermine and back again? I would like to have a gallery button either on user profile page or under the users name on the BB posts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you. I have read this document. The Coppermine install is working correctly.

My question is, can a link be created from the user profile to the Gallery for each user? Also, has only coded the PHPBB board to have links from the BB post directly to users gallery.

Sorry, I misunderstood your request. So what you want is more of a change in the template so that links appear where you want them? I'm not sure I understand the last sentence in your last post, though... but maybe I'm sleep deprived...

No, it is not you, I did not check my verbage. Sorry.

What I am looking foor a way to link all user profiles from my PHPBB2 board to my Coppermine gallery. I know I can add a link to my menu bar, but I would like a link from the BB member profile section.

So, for example, when I look at Joe's profile, I see a link to Joe's photo album.

you'd have to modify phpbb code, not coppermine code. We don't know phpbb well enough to answer questions like that - you better look for answers on the phpbb support board.

Thanks!

I will do that, and if I find an answer, I will spread the word.

I want the same feature and am currently working on a solution ( I'm a full time php programmer). When I'm finished, I will post back here when it's completed.
