Updated to latest checkout (about 8.30 pm GMT) today, and re-tried to fix problems encountered with a bridged install, as discussed here (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=12259.0).
These issues apear to be fixed, but I have the following problems;
- When 'use post based groups' set to NO, admin is just a registered user, and unable to admin the gallery.
- When 'use post based groups' set to NO, and the bridge is disabled, then admin, and everyone else, is treated as registered users. All the coppermine groups had been changed to 'has_admin_access' set to 0 (no)
These are obviously related, but the only remedy once you have set 'use post based groups' to no, is to edit the database to reset the user permissions for the admin, and to turn off the bridge to allow the bridgemanager to be re-run.
I also have an issue with the login/logout, it seems to require you to do it twice, both ways, but this may be a cookie issue on my machine.
I'll take another look at it tonight, but 'has_admin_access' is irrelevent with a bridge, admin status is determined purely by the bbs. I thought about bridge disabling, that does need code to restore the usergroups table properly. You can actually run the bridgemgr.php at any time, admin or not.

...but only to disable bridging, using the standalone admin account created during install.

It's never asked me for any login details, maybe I broke it.
Yay, seems like I did break it. - I'll commit the fix.
OK, everything should be ok, I was unable to replicate any login/logout cookie issues.
Thanks, I'm updating and trying now.

The bridging must leave the standard coppermine settings alone (I thought) so that when unbridged the install would revert to the original settings.
Excellent, all seems to be working spot on now, great job.
