Help...
Are sure you download the file named cpgnuke1.2.0rc2.zip or cpgnuke1.2.0rc2.tar.gz
positive, got it from sourceforge.
sourceforge doesn't have a file named that yet, they do have one called cpg1.2.0rc2.zip.
http://coppermine.findhere.org/modules.php?name=Downloads
Not positive, think i dl'd the standalone version

I installed coppermine on my nukephp, but I get an error every time I click the link from the modules menu.
Fatal error: Failed opening required 'include/config.inc.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/virtual/site137/fst/var/www/html/modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php on line 135

http://www.bugilt.com/modules.php?name=coppermine
I assume you are using the new 1.2, so I have moved you to the appropriate forum.
:lol: It's the standalone version.
Go get the nuke version.
Bugilt as you can see i merged it with all others.
I've loaded coppermine 1.2.0rc2 to phpnuke 6.8. I can access the index directly using http://www.danburyfireworks.com/modules/cpg1.2.0rc2/index.php and everything works as it should.
However, coppermine doesn't show on my modules list. If i try and access the it using http://www.danburyfireworks.com/modules.php?name=cpg1.2.0rc2 it says the module isn't active, but it's not in the admin list for me to activate!
My homepage is currently at http://www.danburyfireworks.com/index.php
Please help. I don't know if I've done something wrong or missing the obvious!
I noticed sometimes the modules list isn't refreshed properly in admin sections of phpNuke.
Go to your admin.php and click on the Modules link several times untill you see it.
And why did you install the standalone version ?
That won't work in phpNuke you need to install the CPGNuke version.
I found renaming the folder solved the problem. Maybe it didn't like some of the characters in the the filename.
I've changed version now. Don't know how I ended up with the standalone version. Must have been a late night when I downloaded it! :shock:
Seems to be up and working now. Thanks for your help.
Hay gtroll

Hai gtroll,
Wrong version, at first yes when I install the 1.1D
But now I have

hey guys.. installed the coppermine in my phpnuke 6.9 and its done without any problems (i know how to read the txt file lol) but it doesn'e seems to appear in my module..
what i did is add a block and put a link to my coppermine gallery. is it suppose to appear in the modules?
anyway, here's a link for the site of mine... http://www.myfamilies.us it has a block for photo gallery in it.. try it..
and heres the direct link to the coppermine http://www.myfamilies.us/coppermine1.2.0rc2/index.php?
Delete all coppermine modules from your FTP also delete all coppermine tables from mysql.
Upload coppermine module, chmod modules/coppermine/include/ to 777
run modules/coppermine/install.php
without problems ?
Well actualy you installed the standalone in the modules directory.
Not the cpg1.2.0rc2_phpnuke.zip
Did you change the permissions as in INSTALLENGLISH.txt? 777 on the include directory for the install. If yes, did your remove your wrong files before installing you may not have a complete install....

Hay There,
In Installenglish there are these lines:
2-chmod the following folders to 766
* modules/coppermine/albums and all subfolders
* modules/coppermine/include
So now I CMOD the INCLUDE to 777 and when I hit Url
modules/coppermine/install.php I get this lines above the coppermine banner:
--------------------------
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 162
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 162
-------------------------
So in total I get one error lesser
And what to do now???
Thank You ALL for now
Try if this works:
In install.php add below "$inside_mod":
unset($newlang);
unset($lang);

Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/modules/coppermine/install.php on line 178
And now?
THANK YOU
You used something like frontpage for editing the file ?
if so stop this instant and use a text/php editor

Hello DJMaze,
No, I don't use frontpage, now I used ACE html
What now
get original install.php back and add the 2 lines i mentioned with a TEXT or PHP editor, nothing else.
did i install the wrong thing?? i didnt have any install problems at all? and i think it just runs fine. But can't find it under the modules.
Yes it runs fine but...
- Coppermine users are seperate (need to become member)
- modules.php?name=coppermine would never work
- not listed in modules admin
- not listed in modules block
- You need to edit coppermine blocks
yeeah thats true.. how to edit the coppermine.php? suggestions?

Hello DJMaze,
Well a couple of days further, I deleted all files Cmod "Include 777" add the 2 lines as you mentioned and now I cant get into the install because of this error:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/modules/coppermine/install.php on line 178
What about that??
Thanks
Hello,
Okay I deleted all files from the server, and run a clean install.
When I chmod it to 777 as you typt, and try to run the install.php I got this error::
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 168
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 168
Then I put in the lines with my text editor:
unset($newlang);
unset($lang);
Then I get this error, so it change from line 168 to 166::
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 166
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.cc/httpdocs/mainfile.php on line 166
Thats all before I hit "install"
What to do now??
Thank You
