To the kind hearted soul that can help me,
I have had no problems using Coopermine for the last almost one year. Since last week - I have had this error come up and I can upload any pictures to my site. Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script ! I have already checked my permissions and they are correct 755. The only thing I think I did was change the order of my categories. Someone please help me.
Email me - chhimi@yahoo.com or post a reply. Thanks in Advance.

You can register and see the error for urself.
It's quite possibe your host has changed something on the server. Have you tried 'SILLY_SAFE_MODE' (see safe mode issues in the docs).

If you want us to see the problem in action, you need to create a test user and post the name/password here, along with a direct link to your Coppermine gallery.

you're using the outdated cpg1.2.1 - you should upgrade to the most recent stable release cpg1.3.2 (although this won't fix your permission issues). In the future, please post on the support board that corresponds to the coppermine version you're using - I'm moving this thread accordingly.

Your site is very nice. Where did you find a template like that? I especially like the way the images lay out.

The theme used on http://chhimi.com/Gallery/index.php is a standard theme that comes with the coppermine package named "hardwired" - you can take a look at it on our demo page (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/index.php?theme=hardwired) as well.
