Title: cpg1.3.2/vb3.0.6 integration problems.
Post by: Bigwrenn on January 23, 2005, 06:02:22 AM
I just upgraded my BB to the newest version and in doing so I have lost the ability to get to the admin user menu in coppermine. Is there any updates for coppermine to address this problem? Is anyone else having this problem?

so now I have a test user account and a password. How about posting a link to your gallery as well, as suggested above? ::)

No "Powered by Coppermine" tag on your page => no support for you.

The license says you mustn't remove nor obstruct it. Formatting it in the same color as your background or making it unreadable in any other way is a license break - you're not allowed to use coppermine that way. Make it readable again! >:(

This thread is not resolved: we're talking about a license break - there's still no "Powered by Coppermine" tag on your site! Put it back or stop using coppermine immediately. >:(
Why is it so hard for you to give credit where credit is due? Is it so much to ask for - just a little link at the very bottom of your page that informs your users that they can get a similar gallery software here? You should define yourself and your site's value over your site's content instead of trying to boast with an application you pretend to have come up with on your own, which just isn't right. Don't be a spoil-sport for the open source community - instead: show the coppermine label with pride!
Search engines will index this page sooner or later, and I doubt that you would want others who google for your site http://www.bigdoubleurc.com/gallery/ to find out that you are a cheater and you're committing licence fraud.

But he doesn't have a problem displaying notices for the rest of the software on his site.  What a putz.

First off I DO NOT pretend that I came up with the software and when asked I point whoever asked to this site! I'm not trying to stiffel anyone's hard work with any application free or not. I will re-enlarge the link at the bottom of the page and I appreciate it if other people(kegobeer) would keep opinions of themselves to their selves  >:(!!!

BTW- I don't appreciate someone calling me a "cheater" when i'm not and you don't even know me. It's back to regular size now, happy?????

Not exactly what I would call large or readable (see attached screenshot), but it will do.

Case closed, locking this thread now.
