Did the installation script ran sucessfully?
Please provide the URL and server details.
Hello
Yes, the script ran sucessfuly...
I have install it here :
http://unephoto.contactmoi.com/install.php
Server détails :
MySQL Host : local
MySQL Database Name : guidedes
MySQL Username : guidedes
Password : send by private message
Thanks for your help
I checked your installation and it seems that there is something wrong with some script. Is your copy a CVS checkout?
@Abbas: use versioncheck.php to answer this question for you ;)
Joachim
@Joachim: i already tried it and it gives following error.
Fatal error :
There was an error while processing a database query
versioncheck doesn't contain any mySQL queries, so the error must be generic. Is phpMyAdmin (or similar) available on the webspace of lovepieds? Can you go to coppermine's config and enable debug_mode? I guess you will need full access to the webspace (ftp and database tool) to find out more, I'm not sure you'd want to go through this process. Maybe it's time lovepieds answered some of those questions: where did you get the coppermine files from? What version are you using? Is there a phpMyAdmin account available? Please do not PM me, and don't post security-related data publicly (authentification data).

i have got the same problem
i uploaded files to uragallery folder.
i done it by not making a database but install with
username ura gallery etc and i get array 1 error etc
i cleaned it all
uploaded again made my own database before i installed and entered exactly the same username and db name as database and getting the same error on install screen.
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.3.2.zip?download i downloaded
if you reply to a thread you should read it before: supporters requested the url of the original starter of this thread, so it might be a good idea to do the same thing if you have the same problems, don't you think? ::)

where is the config and name of the file
is it config.php?
It's a link you will see when in admin mode.
i cant get to admin mode as coppermine wont install.
stuck on install.php as i get that error.
Have you followed the installation instructions? According to the installer you haven't set the permissions for albums, edit, userpics, or include to 777.
i done all that
now i go create a database
db name: uragallery
db user:
db user pass:
then enter the details into install .php
Hi lovepieds an others.
This morning I check my homepage and saw that coppermine could not get to my database. Everything was working fine a day before. So with all the backups at hand I started agian and to my suprise I got the same "SQL syntax near 'Array' at line 1" error. I got in contact with my webhosting service and ask them if they changed something. The answer was "no" but a few hour later everything was running agian. I contacted them again and now their story is that there was a recurring database problem, whatever that means. The hosting company fixed it. I could do nothing about the problem on my end they said.
So I still don't know the solution, or what the problem was but maybe this story helps.
