Post by: bart5986 on January 26, 2005, 05:58:43 AM
Is there a modification that will play flv files? or 'maybe an option in coppermine?

if you have a player on your box that will play those type of files, you can edit the database (using a tool llike phpMyAdmin) and add an entry to coppermine's filetypes table.

Might be of some use to post to this old topic so here goes.

phpMyAdmin is a program you will WANT to explore your MySQL database with.

Thats the best way to become familiar how these php written codes interact and draw data from it.

It is a bunch of scrambled looking alphabet and letters/numbers on first sight that look impossible to decipher
but is really not so difficult if taken the time to go over things little by little.

It's what makes anything seen on the internet "TICK"
