Title: CPG and Japanese interface.
Post by: KcRaCkErG on January 28, 2005, 01:52:16 PM
Hi,

I'm having trouble getting the Japanese interface to work. All standard Coppermine text gets messed up from the moment I choose Japanese-UTF8 as encoding (using the non unicoded Japanese support also doesn't work). The standard language file for my gallery is english-utf8. I can input Japanese text with this encoding without problems. This text is also unaffected when I switch the gallery language. You can probably reproduce the problem by visiting my website (http://www.belgium-anime.com/coppermine/index.php) and selecting Japanese as gallery language (I tried to attach a screenshot to this message, but apparently the board upload folder is full).

Does anyone have an idea how to make it work?

Any help is much appreciated.

this is a known issue that has been fixed - get the most recent language files from the web cvs:
