RTFM: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#batch_add_pics
Use your ftp app to create at least one folder within "albums" (not "userpics"!) and ftp-upload your files there.

No affect. Same screen appears... no choices...

post a deep link to a file that resides within your albums folder that is suppossed to show up, but doesn't.

Did you check the config page that it has the correct folder mentioned where cpg looks for the pics ?

"The album directory*"?

Yes, as default, albums/

Should that be the full address (http://www.tjxweb.net/copper/albums)?

Should be okay then.

Could you also try out GauGau's question.

Put a picture in your albums dir and post the link here.

Something like: http://www.tjxweb.net/copper/albums/test.gif

Please send me a PM with:
- The link to your coppermine site
- The link to this thread
- and admin username and password
and I'll try to see if I can understand what is wrong.

I have the same problem:
http://www.imeldabettinger.com/gallery/searchnew.php

ON this page:

I get this message but no directory listing to chose from like I used to.

"
Select directory
This function allows you to add a batch of file that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.

Select the directory where you have uploaded your files
"

I added a new folder via FTP in /www/gallery/albums/userpics but still nothing shows up.

Please help

well, you mustn't ftp-upload to the userpics folder - you never were meant to, in no coppermine version ever. Read the documentation that comes with coppermine, and search the board. This has been asked many times over - your question is not related to the existing thread, but to dozens of others who uploaded to userpics, while they shouldn't have.

Not sure what is causing this, I suspect either the use of the fantastico package (which is known to differ from our original package and sucks imo) or some strange server setup (your webhost maybe disabling certain file operations for you). Anyway, I have no idea how to fix this, but I have a workaround for you: when batch-adding, just add ?startdir=upl to the address in the address bar of the browser (so your url looks e.g. like this: http://www.tjxweb.net/copper/searchnew.php?startdir=upl). If you were to add files from a sub-folder within albums/upl named "foo", you would add ?startdir=upl/foo. Sorry I have no other solution for you, but I strongly advice to replace your coppermine files that came with fantastico with the files from the coppermine package we provide (not sure if this will fix your particular batch-add issue though).

Well NOW it works with the GET -attribute added to the address row! Thanx GauGau...
