Title: E-Cards and sending confirmation email
Post by: Tangz on February 13, 2005, 01:53:20 AM
I am having a small issue.  I want to be able to send a confirmation email to new users so they can click and activate there account.  But for some reason when I have it enabled and try to send a E-Card it freezes my server up and I have to do a hard restart!!!!  If I do not have the option set I can send E-Cards with no problem.

My setup:
Windows Advanced Server 2000
IIS 5.0
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 4.1.9
Coppermine 1.3.2
Using Advanced SMTP Server 2.5 (I have no need for POP as of yet)

The advanced server is setup as a DNS server with two websites hosted.

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated...

TIA

your smtp service seems to be misconfigured then. Have you managed to use it with other scripts so far?
