Title: confused about versions..
Post by: magicrichard on February 17, 2005, 05:54:31 PM
Hey guys,

I'm probably being a complete n00b here, but I have got myself all confused about versions. About a month ago i downloaded and installed this file successfully:

"cpg1.2.0_postnuke_v15"

My main question is really.... do i need to upgrade anything. I can see that CPG1.3.2 has been released, but it doesnt *seem* as though i am able to upgrade to that at the moment?

I am really after the ability to display videos, whcih i understand there is a hack for if im running the standalone version of CPG, but i'm not. I also understand that if i am able to upgrade to 1.3 it is now a standard feature!

Could anyone help untangle me please?

Rich

you need the most recent stable cpg1.3.2 (standalone) (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.3.2.zip?download) and the postnuke mod pnCPG (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13988.0) to make it work with postnuke.

Many thanks. I will set to installing them both on top of what I already have working.

Fingers crossed it all goes well...!

First update Coppermine and next update pnCPG, should be no problem.
