Title: How can I display one random gallery image elsewhere in the site
Post by: Spanky Deluxe on February 19, 2005, 03:16:07 AM
Hi, I was wondering if there was any way by which I could display a random image from my gallery on say the main page of my site? I have very little knowledge of php and am very confused by it all. My gallery's up and running fine, but I just think it'd be cool to have a random image on the front page so as to draw people in to the gallery more. Also could there be any way to limit it to specific categories?

Also on another topic:

Is there any where by which when you upload a video, Coppermine can convert the thumbnail you've uploaded too to the same size as the other thumbnails on the site. I.e. If you wanted a quick and easy way to create a thumbnail, you could simply attatch a frame grab from the movie and Coppermine would do the resizing for you?

My gallery's http://www.hellary.co.uk/gallery btw

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Kind Regards,

Phil

This is for your first question: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13255.0

One question per thread, please. It makes it easier to track that they have been resolved or not.
