guys i need your help i've encounter this error while installing coppermine, i dont know exactly what is the problem on what i have done..pls advise me..

The following errors were encountered and need to be corrected first:

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'wsigallery@localhost' (Using password: YES)


i'd setup mysql configuration lyk below..

MySQL configuration  
================
This section requires information on how to access your MySQL database. If you don't know how to fill them, check with your webhost support.  

MySQL Host                         >   localhost(localhost is usually OK)    

MySQL Database Name          >   wsigallery_epinoy_com

MySQL Username                  >   wsigallery_epinoy_com

MySQL Password                  >    the same password on myftp

MySQL table prefix               >    cpg132_
(default value is OK; do not use dots!)  





and the below is my account information given by the epinoy.com

Your Personal FTP Information:
FTP Server:     wsigallery.epinoy.com (ftp://wsigallery.epinoy.com@wsigallery.epinoy.com)
FTP Login:    wsigallery.epinoy.com
FTP PassWord:     For security reasons your password is not included in this email.

Your Personal MySQL Information:
MySQL DataBase    wsigallery_epinoy_com
MySQL HostName    localhost
MySQL UserName    wsigallery_epinoy_com
MySQL PassWord:    The same as for FTP

did you actually replace
Quotethe same password on myftp
with the password?

There's code in that thread to test your MySQL connection ability.  See if you can actually make a connection with your MySQL information your host provided.

yes... i'd replace it w/ my password given my server!

Please clarify your answer.  You attempted a test connection and it failed?
