Title: critical error (maybe password related)
Post by: BunnyS on February 28, 2005, 07:10:50 AM
I am receiving this message on two of my databases.

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user: 'greetin_copp1@localhost' (Using password: YES)

They were both functioning beautifully but I had some trouble with passwords installing Mambo in another directory and my server support reinstalled that SQL database and reset the password.  Is there a place I can check to see what password coppermine is looking for and change it if it is wrong?

Do you think this could be the problem?

Here's the link if its any use to solving this:

Thanks to anyone who tries to help.

Elaine

The databases are still on the server ok - I checked that.

Open include/config.inc.php
Check and update the value of $CONFIG['dbpass'] if needed.
