Title: Won't let me upload .GIF files, only JPEG! HELP!!

When uploading any .gif file, large, small, etc it will return this message:: I have GD 2x installed on the server

File Name/URL   Error Message
1. mptv1.gif   Not a GD extension.

anyone know how to fix this? Also it won't let me upload .bmp files. In the config settins under extentions allowed, it just says ALL

GD versions earlier than 2.0.28 didn't handle GIF images, for reasons I won't go into here.  You can go to www.boutell.com/gd and read all about it.  Because of this, Coppermine doesn't handle GIF images when using GD.  If you go to the mods board, you will find a mod I wrote that allows PHP 4.3.8+ and GD 2.0.28+ and Coppermine 1.3.2 to all play together nice and allow GIF uploads.

The Coppermine documentation also talks about GD/GIF restrictions.
