Title: Adding link in phpBB
Post by: Kanon on March 03, 2005, 12:57:44 PM
For some reason I cant figure out how to make the actual link that the users are suposed to click (in phpBB) to get in to Coppermine. I wanted to put the link in overall_header.php just like I have done with this: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/4001
Everything else works 100%. If I type in the file name in address bar it have me loged in so the bridge should work.

Any suggestions on how to run "a file" from overall_header.php?

Since you are modifying phpbb, this is a question to ask them.

we have seen it, but we haven't taken a look at the code of phpBB. Brdging/integration of coppermine and a bbs (in your case phpBB) just means that coppermine will share the user management of phpBB, that's all - if you need closer integration (e.g. some menu items shwoing up in phpBB), you will have to find it out for yourself, we have no idea how to accomplish that. As you have to modify phpBB's code (not coppermine's code) to accomplish this, it would be wiser to ask this over at phpBB's support board, since this is the place where all the phpBB savy people are.
You should treat people with more respect and think before you post, in fact TranzNDance gave you the same reply as I did, just with less details. Replying the way you did is not very nice.
