Hello,
I think pnCPG is a really great tool, but I'm missing one very important option:
I want to show the newest Albums on my website.
Currently I'm adding a html block (with link, thumbnail and so on), but I wish there was a block that would list the XX (e.g. 3) newest albums.
I'm not very experienced with programming for postnuke, so I hope you can help me.
Any ideas / help would be great, thx.
André
The random block already shows the last updated blocks, is that not sufficient ?
Or are you looking for a block with just the last added albums/pictures?
Cas
yeah...
that's what I meant...
I currently use the pncpg scroller to show the last uploaded pictures... but I want something like a "show XX last added albums"
Check your mailbox................
hehe... thanks... I almost moved it to the spambox :-)
Well, I'll test it asap and let you know :-)
Thx.
okay,
this is going to be just a small review as I have just tested the new function(s) for a few minutes...
so far the following problems occured:
1.) pncpg-scroller: Title is still wrong: It doesn't matter what you enter in the settings, it's allways "pnCPG Scroller 2.5" or something like that... (depending on the version you entered in the lang files)
2.a) pncpg-last: Nice block, but big problem: You can change the databse in the block settings... but if you place the block on the main page (e.g. as a center block), you won't even be able to get as far as the administration panel... because the database prefix might be wrong... I use another porefix, not the standard (cpg132), so I had to change the value in the database using phpMyAdmin... Maybe move this option to the main settings of pnCPG?
2.b) pncpg-last: Why just an text block? What about a thumbnail for the album? settings could be: width, height, use thumbnail (last, first, same as in cpg), maybe even a standard template to use for the overview? Well, that's actually what I am missing...
2.c) pncpg-last: Missing option to (in)exclude user albums
3.) Great Modul, Great work! :-)
If you want to completed german translations, email me... (Yeah, I actually looked through all the new files you send me for missing translations... I think I found all of them :D)
Bye
ohh... yeah... maybe even an option to show the uploader / creator of the album?
:-)
