Title: Remove images in my favorites area without leaving my favorites
Post by: ScenicNH on March 06, 2005, 08:39:10 PM
Hi,
Is there a way to add a "Remove Image from favorites" link to each image that is placed  in the Favorites page.

Right know when you add an image to your favorites area there is no easy way to remove that image from the favorites area. You have to click on the image and go out of the favorites area to remove that image.

Is there a way to remove images from your favorites pages without having to leave your favorites page. It would be nice to remove images without leaving your favorites area.

I have been looking all over this site and have not found anything yet.

Any info would be great.

Title: Add to favorites under thumbnails
Post by: ScenicNH on March 11, 2005, 11:47:24 PM
Hi,
I Added "Add to favorites" under the thumbnails on the thumbnail pages.
Is there a way to stay on the thumbnail page after clicking on the "Add to Favorites"  and not get sent to the display page.

What I want to do is click on the "Add to Favorites" link, which I have under all thumbnails on the thumbnail pages. The Image gets added to your favorites and you remain on the thumbnail page.(You dont get directed to the display page). Also when your are in your Favorites you would be able to remove a image without being directed to the display page.

The way it works now is when you click "Add to Favorites" (under thumbnails) the image gets added to your favorites and you get directed to the display page of that image.
Is there anyway to stop this. I have looked all over the forum but have come up with nothing

Any info would be great.

don't double-post: I merged your separate thread where you ask the very same thing with this thread. Maybe nobody answered because nobody knows... ::)

Very sorry for the double-post... It had been a week and no one responsed to the question.  I thought maybe the way I worded the first post was confusing and no one understood what I wanted to do or the post got lost in the shuffle, because this seems to be a very busy forum and that kinda of thing can happen.
Either way thank you for merging my two posts together. That was very nice of you.  I know you administrators are very busy running this forum.
Maybe the administrators should put a simple "Dont have an answer" on threads they dont know. It could cut down on the double posts.Just an idea

If you do come up with a solution for my problem please let me know..I thought for sure you guys would have a hac for what I want done.
Any chance in the future?

Thank you for your time ;D

Well, I don't know what you modified in the first place, so it's hard to tell you how to modify your changes.

HI,
This is what I did

I found this thread-- ADD "add to favorites" on thumbnail view
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=12654.0

I followed all the steps to "Add to favorites" under the thumbnails and it works great, but now I want to modify it to make the "Add to favorites" link more  user friendly.

What I want to do now  is posted above.  Without double-posting I want to stay on the thumbnail page after I click "Add to favorites" which is under each thunbnail.

Thank you for your response
See Ya ;D
