Title: logging ip of registered user
Post by: monay on March 16, 2005, 06:30:14 PM
hello everybody,
because my gallery should not be visibly for everybody ( it's a non-official project ), i've secured it that it does not show images to non-registered users.
now i would like to make another step and log the ip-address of people who register on my gallery because i got everyday lots of people who register and should not be there, so i've got to erase 'em.

any suggestions how to release an "ip-logger" when someone registers?

sounds like you know information about which subnets you want to allow, use webserver options to restict access to your gallery url...then its hands off administration.
