Title: Ecard pick up in a different location?
Post by: sfungus on March 16, 2005, 09:09:14 PM
Wondering if this was possible - want to setup CPG in a protected directory for members, but allow members to send ecards to anyone.  Obviously, all the gallery images will be in a protected directory so the images won't show up.  Can I do a symlink to the protected galleries in a non-protected directory, and copy the ecard display template to a non-protected dir?  will that work, or is there a different/better way to do it?

That's not necessary. Images from cpg-protected albums are viewable in ecards. Try it out. However, if you are using another authentication method, that's another issue.
