Title: Can i render this problem?
Post by: yzf-r1 on March 17, 2005, 11:38:54 PM
Hi and thanks in advance  :)

My databases were hacked a couple of weeks ago and i have twice re uploaded cpg132 in an attempt to resore the gallery to its last point of a backup.
Ive re uploaded all the users folders and files and everything on the front-end seems fine. However when i try to upload using my own user account and not my admin account i get the following error note after i choose which album to place the jpeg in:

..................................Destination directory albums/userpics/10002/ is not writable by the script ! ......................................................

Is there a way round this so my members can continue uploading to their original albums without having to re register with another name and re uploading, or myself having to delete their accounts.
I do know though that a new account can be set up and works fine.
??????????????????????

Cheers

CHMOD the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the install section of the docs and you should be fine.

Just tried that too.

HOWEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive CHMOD the actual "user pics" folders in the "albums" folder and i have *****successfully***** managed to upload to the gallery.

Thanks for both your help and one way or another im glad its sorted.
