Title: Coppermine login problem when bridging w/ vBulletin
Post by: ninor on March 27, 2005, 12:56:19 PM
I'm re-running the install of coppermine and I'm wondering do I have to use the same database for vBulletin and Coppermine? I feel uncomfortable combining those two into same database. Or do i only have to edit the bridge file and coppermine will pull the users from that database.

They need to be in the same database. It's fine to do as long as both scripts use different prefixes for the table names.

my forums are at: www.sejtan.com/forums (vbulletin 3.0.7)
coppermine is at: www.sejtan.com/gallery

in "admin control panel / vBulletin options / HTTP Headers and output" "Cookie Domain" = .sejtan.com and the cookie path = /

Problem solved.

You should at to the documentation that it's required to add the Table and Cookie Prefix.

I haven't looked at this area because of the: "Nothing to edit below this line."
