Title: Problem while creating albums for members
Post by: le_guy41 on April 16, 2005, 06:16:15 AM
Hello,

I have Coppermine gallery 1.2.1 integrated with IPB 1.3 final. And when a member try to create an album, here is the steps :
- click on "Create album button"
- click on "New album"
- Changing the name "New album" into whatever
- click on "apply the modifications"

And no album is created. The way to succeed is to click on the name of the album to select it before applying modifications.

I don't know if i am clear in my explanations  ??? so here is the link to my borad :

http://www.lesgondins.org/Forum/ (in french)

with the member ID :
lachtitemere
Password :
guillaume

To access the gallery click on the camera icon in the right hand corner.

Thanks in advance for sprending a little time to solve my problem.

If you have issues, you should upgrade to the latest 1.3.3. There's no point in trying to figure out a problem in an old version when it might be fixed in a new one. Another reason to upgrade is that the dev team members are not running 1.2 anymore since we already have 1.3, 1.4 and NG to juggle.

then you're using the infamous "coppermine goes invisionize" hack, which is known to cause troubles and that has changes in coppermine's code base that goes unsupported by the coppermine dev team (simply because we don't know it). It's a drawback of using a hack like the one you're refering to: it get's nearly impossible to upgrade, and there can be little to no support at all. That's why we always recommended not to use the "coppermine goes invisionize" hack. Sorry, unless you decide to revert back to "standard" coppermine packages you'll be on your own with this issue, there's nothing we can do to help you.
