Title: Image display problem
Post by: blockcipher on April 22, 2005, 06:30:58 PM
Good Morning everyone,

I have an installation of coppermine thats been working flawlessly for many months now.  Just recently I have been uploading via FTP into an album folder that I create, as usual.  And when going to batch add files.  The thumbnail works, but when clicking it it has a dead image.  Yes, the albums permission are setup properly.

Here is an example: http://www.x-tile.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=120
When clicking on thumbnail: http://www.x-tile.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=120&pos=28

I have also just noticed if I goto the pic itself I get: http://www.x-tile.net/gallery/albums/IMSO/OLIMPO%20NEW/10x10mosB-N.jpg

What could be the issue here, seems to be all new files that I have been adding, none of the ones that were setup in the past.  So I'm assuming there is something wrong witht he 'upload' process, because if I grab the full URL to the old pix, I don't get the error

The image "http://www.x-tile.net/gallery/albums/IMSO/OLIMPO%20NEW/10x10mosB-N.jpg" cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Any input would be appreciated.

By the way I did try another coppermine installation on the same server, different site, so it seems to be something with this setup.  Thought I would share that.

Thanks!

What mode are you uploading these in?

Have you started using a different program to process the images, if you view the source code of the error page, you get a load of rubbish and stuff about Adobe Photoshop CS Macintosh.

Hi Casper :)  What mode?  Sorry, but what do you mean by that?  Ya, never thought about looking at the source of the page...I'll have to look at that!

Thanks!
