Title: Two front-ends - same back-end?
Post by: SharQ on May 03, 2005, 08:11:03 PM
Hi!

I am running several websites which will be used to dish out pages via a modified version of CG.

www.rockprints.co.uk is the main site, which is running fine.

Now, however, I want to install CG on www.konsertbilder.no , which is a Norwegian language version of www.rockprints.co.uk

Is there any way I can run both sites from the same database? I.e I only have to upload new images to www.rockprints.co.uk, and it automatically updates www.konsertbilder.no?

Has anyone tried this? Is it possible, without rewriting coppermine completely?

Hope anyone has any ideas.

Running them from the same database is fine (with a few tweaks), but the images that are uploaded must be on both servers.
