Post by: ggnetworks on May 08, 2005, 03:52:25 PM
lets say i upload some images via FTP and want to add them to the albums.

is it possible to make watermarks on all the uploaded pics, so that when they are moved to the category/album folder they are added with a watermark url txt or image.

bonjour,
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=16286.0
with this mod you can add watermark on your photos, modify all the files as are require and it's work fine.
First, install easyphp on your local hard drive,
second, make a local install of cpg for testing
third, if it's ok on your local installation, you can apply to your online galerie.
This mod is for experimented user, but it's really good mod to learn
good luck !  ;)

And there is this little text entryfield right beside the word SEARCH that can help you as well. Try it. Type "Watermark images" in that text field and press enter.

Please note that on-the-fly watermarking is a huge waste of resources, that's why such a feature doesn't come with Coppermine's core code. We recommend doing the watermarking on the client before uploading, using tools like picture shark or similar.
