Title: Stat failed for ./albums/edit/.. (errno=13 - Permission denied)

I get this error when trying to upload pics.

I've had this error before, and the solution was easy (change the prms for the directory). However, for some reason the "edit" folder is locked on 666 ("albums" is 777). No matter what i do, if i change the perms on "edit", it just goes back to 666.

I havent found anything through search (all the posts just say to change perms to fix the error).

Any ideas?

I fixed it by creating another folder called "edit1" then perming  it 777. The the i changed the name of the folder "edit" to "edit2". Then i changed the name of "edit1" (the folder with 777 perms) to "edit". This seemed to work.

I'm getting that error again. I can still fix it using that method i posted last time, but it seems to be happening every day now.

Could this be something to do with my web host, or would it be something in coppermine resetting the chmod..?

what version of coppermine are you running? Try upgrading to the most recent stable cpg1.3.3 and see if this fixes your issues permanently.
